Meta dll finished updating

(You could also think of other variations of doing this).

I have a linux server now and i trying to set up rcbot on it with NS.

What would be the correct procedure to avoid this kind of behaviour?

Meta dll finished updating

All functionality is loaded into separate app domains as an when required.

a process has loaded a dll it is not possible to change it.

During registration the DLL writes into Registry some paths that it will be using in the future.

Now the problem is that in my new DLL the stored path is different.

Now my Rcbot is in the NS fodler for it but this is where the folder is located:instances/ns/ns/rcbot Now i can't see the half lfie folder and what nto so idk how to get the pathing to work with emta mod. But for some reaosn i can't get the rcbot to go.

i tried diff paths for it and nothing.linux ../rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_i486.sothats what i have now i also tried:linux ns/rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_i486.solinux ns/ns/rcbot/dlls/rcbot_mm_i486all said badf load.

I noticed some times on map change on our CS server when metamod ( 1.7.3 ) updates plugins this happens : normaly : L 02/12/2005 - : [META] ini: Begin re-reading plugins list: /home/servere/gameservere/ac3/cstrike/addons/met amod/L 02/12/2005 - : [META] ini: Read plugin config for: HLGuard L 02/12/2005 - : [META] ini: Read plugin config for: AMX Mod X L 02/12/2005 - : [META] ini: Finished reading plugins list: /home/servere/gameservere/ac3/cstrike/addons/met amod/plugins.ini; Found 2 plugins L 02/12/2005 - : [META] dll: Updating plugins...

In addition to Gulzar's answer: If your service is just directly referencing the DLL's you'll need to re-design the service a bit to utilise App Domains and the Shadow Copy capabilities to take advantage of this feature.
